Day 1 -Arrival in Marrakech – Gateway to the South
Your adventure begins upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport. We provide seamless transfers to your centrally located hotel, where you can rest or take a short stroll through the vibrant medina. Marrakech, known as the Red City, offers bustling souks, historical palaces, and exquisite Moroccan cuisine to kickstart your journey.
Day 2 - Marrakech – Tizi n’Ttest Pass – Ouled Berhil
Depart Marrakech after breakfast, ascending the Tizi n’Ttest Pass by 4x4. This winding route traverses the High Atlas mountains, presenting panoramic views of peaks, valleys, and the distant desert horizon. A highlight is the Tin Mel Mosque, a masterpiece of Almohad architecture, where travelers can admire centuries-old stonework and serene surroundings. The journey continues to Ouled Berhil, a charming town offering authentic Moroccan hospitality.
Day 3 - Ouled Berhil – Taliouine – Tazenakht – Agdz – Zagora
Drive south to Taliouine, globally renowned for its premium saffron production. A visit to a local saffron cooperative reveals cultivation and harvesting techniques that produce Morocco’s “red gold.” Proceed to Tazenakht, famed for its handwoven Berber carpets. Explore traditional workshops, absorbing the artistry and culture. Continue along the Draa Valley to Agdz, a verdant oasis framed by arid mountains, and finally arrive in Zagora, a gateway to the Sahara.
Day 4 -Zagora – Tamgroute – Erg Lihoudi Desert
Morning exploration of Zagora includes visits to Tamgroute, home to a centuries-old Quranic library, subterranean kasbahs, and vibrant pottery workshops. In the afternoon, meet your camel caravan for a desert trek leading to Erg Lihoudi, where you'll spend the night in a traditional Berber bivouac under a starlit sky. This immersive experience combines adventure with cultural enrichment, featuring Moroccan cuisine around the campfire.
Day 5 -Erg Lihoudi – Zagora – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou
Return by 4x4 to Zagora and continue to Ouarzazate, Morocco’s cinematic capital. Explore the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and iconic film location. The contrast between desert expanses and fortified clay architecture creates striking photo opportunities and a deeper understanding of Moroccan history.
Day 6 -Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Valley
Travel to the lush Skoura Oasis, dotted with palm groves and kasbahs. Experience the historic Amridil Kasbah, a testament to centuries of Berber life. Continue to the Dades Valley, famed for dramatic rock formations, winding gorges, and scenic photography spots. Overnight stays in local guesthouses offer authentic Moroccan comfort.
Day 7 -Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Tinerhir – Marrakech
Venture through the Todra Gorge, with towering cliff walls perfect for adventurous treks or climbing. Pass through Tinerhir and return to Marrakech via the Tizi Tichka Pass, the highest road pass in Morocco, offering unparalleled views of the Atlas Mountains. Evening arrival in Marrakech allows time for a relaxing dinner in the medina.
Day 8 -Departure from Marrakech
